Backorders: all of our inventory is updated continually. However, if there is a mistake and an item you ordered is out of stock, we will contact you to offer a substitution or to refund your purchase.

Sales Tax: sales tax will be charged when an order is shipping to the state of Texas.

Payment methods: we accept visa, mc, discover and american express. In-store, we are also capable of accepting apple pay. If you prefer to pay by check, please allow 7 days for the check to process through the banking system prior to your order being shipped.

Special orders: we gladly accept special orders! Please call us so we can assist you in getting what you need. Special orders do have minimums, and payment is required at the time you contact us since we don’t normally stock that particular item. Because of this, we cannot accept returns or exchanges on special ordered items.

Dye Lot: Due to the volume of yarn we order and sell, there is not an efficient way for us to be sure skeins that are purchased in singles are chosen from the dye lots of least quantity. For that reason, if we have 13 skeins in stock, for example, chances are those 13 are not all the same dye lots. If you require the same dye lot for your project, please include a request for all one dye lot in the comments section upon checkout. If we do not have enough quantity in the same dye lot, we will contact you prior to shipping to give you options, and will gladly refund your order if needed. If no request for same dye lot is made, rest assured we will still attempt to pull all the same dye lot for your order!

Yarn Winding: We know how time consuming it is to wind yarn into a ball by hand, so let us do it! We would love to wind your yarn for you. Yarn winding service is an option for each item in your cart and is available at checkout. 500 yards and under: $2.00 per hank; over 500 yards: $4.00 per hank.

*We cannot accept returns or exchanges on wound yarn, so be sure you know you will definitely need it to complete your project before deciding to have it wound. This service will take a little extra time, so please allow an additional 24-48 hours of processing time.

Online Returns: We want you to be happy! We understand that sometimes we purchase too much yarn for a project, or we decide to frog a project after we start it. Because we have all been there, we offer returns on unused yarn for 30 days after purchase date. If it has been 32 days, please contact us! We want to do everything we can to make sure your buying experience from us is pleasant and that we remain reasonable. If it has been 45 days or 60 days, we will probably stick to the policy, but we want to work with you. The yarn MUST be unwound, with original tags in original condition, and must have been kept in, or traveled in, an environment that is smoke-free and pet-free. Unfortunately, on the off-chance yarn is returned to us that is not new, that is wound, or has an odor or pet hair, we will not be able to process a refund and the item will have to be shipped back to you at your cost.

Return shipping: Unless caused by an error on our part or a manufacture's defect, the cost of shipping to return items back to us will need to be paid by you, and we cannot refund the original shipping cost back to your account if one was paid. If you received free shipping for your order, the original shipping cost (since it wasn’t free to us) will be deducted from your refund amount unless the remaining items not returned from that order still qualify you for the free shipping.

What can be returned: Yarn purchased at regular price, defective items, bags, pre-cut fabric bundles, most notions, pre-measured spinning fibers. What cannot be returned: Any sale or clearance items, needles, crochet hooks, patterns, books, cut fabric, weighed spinning fiber, wound yarn, used items, items without original packaging and tags, yarn stored or kept in an area where smoking and pets are allowed.

Defective needles: If your needle is defective (the wood is splinters, or the tip comes off, or the cord comes loose, for example), please contact us as we will ship a replacement set to you as soon as your broken one is received. If we are out of stock of your size, we will let you know and can issue a refund, offer another needle option, or contact the manufacturer to see if they have that size in stock to ship to you direct. Returns like these are important to getting you back on the road to finishing your project, so we want to do everything we can to correct the problem.

Exchanging defective needles is quite time consuming, and isn’t always easy, so we kindly request that only needles that were noticeably defective from the beginning of use be returned. Sometimes needles can break under too much or just the wrong kind of pressure, especially smaller wooden needles. If you break a needle while using it, unfortunately, we cannot replace it. Some needles break easier than others, and more easily by some knitters than others. If this happens to you, please call us and we can suggest some alternative needles for your use!

Order errors: Please allow us to apologize! We are mere humans (well, some of us may be knitting machines, but…) and we sometimes make mistakes… If you notice one with your order, please contact us within 7 days of receiving your order and we will correct it as soon as possible.
