CLASS DATE & TIME (2-part class):
Saturday, August 12th, 2023 12:30-3:30
Saturday, August 19th, 2023 12:30-3:30
In this 2 part class, students will complete a small throw/ baby sized quilt approximately 32" x 40" using a pre-cut pack of 10" squares. The instructor will walk students through making their very first actual quilt, from cutting their fabric to binding their quilt.
The primary goal of this class is to help new quilters who know the basics of quiolting, yet who still have not been comforatble completing an actual quilt. The instructor will take the intimidation factor out of this new skill and make it an achievable process so that students will feel comforatble venturing on to their next quilt!
(This class will NOT instruct students on how to do the basics of quilt making. Stuednts whould already be proficient in cutting, piecing, sewing straight lines using a walking foot, and binding basics.)
Pre-requisites: Sewing 101 OR equivalent skills. Students must know how to use their sewing machine, and must be able to perform the basics of sewing (basic cutting skills, threading the machine, sewing straight lines, etc.)
