Tina Bass, certifies Laura Heine instructor, will be here teaching a two-day quilting class! She'll explain Laura Heine's collage technique. The first day will go over fabric prep and cutting. There will be homework that will need to be finished by the second day so you can put your quilt together!

Materials: We have many Laura Heine collage quilt patterns available for purchase at the shop! We also have additional supplies needed for the class in stock at the shop in case you need them! We can e-mail you a supply list; the list includes Steam a Seam, Pattern Ease, scissors, applique sheets, and fabric. Please contact the shop at 832-932-0300 for more information or to sign up!

About Tina: I love making the collage quilts! I love it so much that this year I traveled to Montana to became certified by Laura Heine to teach her collage technique in her 1st ever certification class. I am excited to bring home what I have learned and teach you her techniques to create your own collage quilt. With 40+ Laura Heine collage patterns to choose from, I’m sure you will find one that you will want to make for yourself.

Since you will pick your own pattern you will have to follow the supply sheet for your yardage requirements for fabric, Pattern Ease Foundation, and Steam A Seam 2.
Please do not purchase Steam a Seam 2 Lite.
No sewing machine required!

Required supplies:
#2 pencil, not mechanical
Black Sharpie
Karen K Buckley blue handled scissor
Applique pressing sheet
Rotary cutter
Cutting mat
Ruler, any width, but at least 18” or longer
Small iron
Ironing mat
Paper to take notes

The 1st class is mostly a demo class. You will have homework to do at home to be prepared for the 2nd day of class.
