This is a beginner knit cable class that will teach you the basics of cable knitting. You will learn how to read a knit cable pattern, how to add cables in to your knitting and how to use your cable needle. The class project is a 4"x4" square to get started on the basics.

Class Date: December 5, 2026 from 10:30AM-12PM

Prerequisites: Knit I, Knit II, and Knit III.

Materials:

  • Chunky (#5) weight yarn
  • US 9 (5.5mm) straight or circular knitting needles
